The All Black Everything Summit is a semi-annual digital event providing vital support and resources to Black innovators, addressing the challenges and mental blocks that keep us from achieving and securing the bag.

Over the course of three days, artists of different industries will interact with experts of their craft, receiving key elements needed to start, build, and successfully run their business. The objective of the ABE Summit is for Black creatives to know we do not need to continuously ask for power - it is within us, it is innate. Top fashion and celebrity makeup artist and ABE Summit founder, Joy Fennell, created The Joy in Beauty as a safe digital space for women to celebrate their authentic selves and to share their love of art, beauty, fashion, design, and culture. This became the foundation for the ABE Summit - an informative bolster to uplift Black creatives who feel stifled amongst the effects of the global pandemic. Joy is known for helping people look and feel their best and believes in the advancement of the Black community, encouraging Black creatives to step into their power while creating spaces for all voices to be heard.

History has proven our power and purpose has already been written, and it’s up to us to maintain the creative passion that will mend our wounds for future generations.

During COVID-19 and the civil unrest following the deaths of Black Americans at the hands of law enforcement, Black innovators were hit with multiple blows surrounding their creative ventures, causing pause and uncertainty. The All Black Everything Summit emerged, providing inspiration and motivation to affected professionals.

While highlighting and centering around Blackness, the tools supplied at the ABE Summit are inclusive to everyone seeking to understand the Black community within the industry - it is open to those hiring, working alongside, and employing Black visionaries within their organization. Supporting Black artists is more than just a moment and movement, it is the standard. More often than not Blackness is an aesthetic, used as a backdrop for cute Instagram flix and TikTok dances. However, our talents are not to be taken lightly.

We are not a fad - we occupy every space, set all the trends, and have decided the keys belong to us. However, our relationship to obtaining success needs a refresh. You should pursue the career and position you want, negotiate the pay that reflects your work, and have the confidence to believe you are worthy of receiving the gifts that are ordained for you. Be bold enough to create your own future. Feel empowered to maneuver and command any room. Our voices are critical and the ABE Summit intends to amplify every single one of them to be heard, honored, and valued
